It’s 2019 and we have an app for absolutely everything. This includes apps to make the chaotic parenting life a little bit easier to deal with. After going through all sorts of apps for babies and parents, we narrowed it down to 4 apps that we think are a must have in order to cover all major bases!
- Daddy Up
This app is perfect for fathers who are so excited, they want to become immediately involved in the experience.
The app starts off by giving you your wife’s weekly pregnancy progress and what changes you should be expecting in her body and how to best care for them. It also shows you the baby’s development stages and growth. You can maintain your personalized daddy checklist along with a log. At the time of labor, you can keep track of contractions through the contraction counter option.
Once the baby is here, you can make announcements that you share on your social media!
- Cloud Baby Monitor
This handy app allows you to keep an eye on your baby any time you need to through a live video feed. You can sleep or work in peace, checking in on your baby with the touch of a button. It sends you an alert any time it detects any movement.
It also gives you the option to soothe your baby with lullabies, your own voice or white-noise.
BabyTime is the all in one app that keeps a record of all essential things in one place. You can keep a track of feedings, diaper changes, and sleep times. This way you can learn your baby’s patterns, and make sure you aren’t constantly worried about keeping a check on time for a ton of different things at the same time.
To top it all off, it has the cutest graphics that make using it all the more pleasurable.
- WebMD Baby
Of course, everyone pretty much has their pediatrician on speed dial. But babies go through so many changes that often parents are unsure of whether something needs to be checked or not. This app saves you a lot of trouble and allows you quick access to physician-approved health information about babies. (This app is not a doctor replacement. If you’re unsure about anything, please consult a doctor as soon as possible.)
You can also access latest news and tips from experts on babies, parenting, and doctors, along with being able to record all your baby’s important milestones! And it doesn’t even end there. You can track height and weight, as well as times and places of their feeding, sleeping, diaper change.
Having all these apps will make your life a lot more organized and will save you time you can use to relax. Do you have any helpful apps we missed out on? Let us know!
